Regional Alcohol & Drug Detoxification

Quapaw House is licensed to provide Regional Alcohol and Drug Detoxification (RADD) Services. Our Detoxification Program provides evaluations, observation (3 Day), and medical detoxification (5 Day). These services are facilitated by Regional Alcohol and Drug Detoxification Specialists (trained and certified by the Arkansas Department of Health, Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention) and supervised by our Medical Director and Medical Services Coordinator.  Clients will be evaluated and recommendations will be made in regards to a follow up plan which may include one of the other treatment modalities available at Quapaw House.   Pregnant women in first and third trimester will be referred to a local hospital for detoxification. Pregnant women in their second trimester are referred to the Residential Alcohol and Drug Detoxification unit located at Quapaw House's Adult Residential facility for the duration of detoxification services.  Upon completion of those services, women are then moved to BARBS Place for the remainder of their residential treatment stay.
