Prisoner Re-entry Program
Spearheaded by the Governor’s office and the need for the development of viable alternatives to unacceptable rates of recidivism, the Prisoner Re-entry program was developed within Arkansas Community Corrections. The program screens and refers prisoners eligible for early parole and places them in re-entry programs across the state. The program utilizes evidence-based curriculum and intensive case management in a residential setting with constant supervision to provide a higher degree of structure to recently paroled offenders in an effort to reduce their likelihood of recidivism. Quapaw House has one all-female and one all-male facility in Hot Springs as well as one all-male facility in Little Rock.
